New Holland Cash Crop Specialists conducted more than 65 clinics at dealerships throughout North America since June 1, 2012 to help customers better understand their machines.
More than 2,250 customers attended the clinics where they learned more about the features and benefits of the CR and CX Series combines, New Holland’s full range of heads, product updates, important service and adjustment issues and a detailed review of the IntelliView™ monitor. The clinics also included a combine walk-around.
For some attendees, the clinic was a refresher course, but for others it was new information. But everyone learned something valuable to help during the harvest season.
Cash Crop Specialist Mike Harvey, who conducted a number of these events this past season, says the clinics can be as short as 90 minutes or as long as four hours, depending on the dealership and customers.
Harvey begins his clinics with a short PowerPoint presentation that covers some of New Holland’s history in combines and tractors, as well as what’s new for the coming year. He also touches on major selling points of the equipment, conducts a walk-around to point out things to check before starting harvest, and emphasizes the importance of regular lubrication and maintenance. Monitor menus and layout, as well as calibration are also covered with customers.
No matter how long the clinic, Harvey says he finds that customers are appreciative of the information.
